Spectrum | November 2020 Reopening Update (Face Covering Requirement)

Dear Spectrum families,

As many of you may have heard, Governor Jim Justice has updated the face covering mandate for the state of West Virginia. In this update, businesses must require everyone over the age of 10 to wear a mask inside of their building regardless of their ability so socially distance. We ask our students to please follow this rule so that we can continue to safely train and operate our academy without fear of being shut down.

In addition, starting this Monday, November 16th, we will again ask that all parents wait outside for their children and not enter the academy when classes are in session. Having two classes of students plus their parents in the academy at the same time would take us over the gathering limit of 25. Classes will continue to be live streamed on our Facebook page.

Please understand that we are abiding by the rules laid our by our local government because our focus remains on the health and safety of our students and because we do not want to have to shut down again. As always, inform a coach if you are sick and do not come to class under any circumstances until you are feeling better. If you are concerned that you may have been infected, assume you are positive and do not come to the academy until you receive an official negative test.
